Background

Creatures in general are represented by a Tarantula icon.
Creatures are enemy arthropods or arthropod-like beings that spawn naturally once every 24 hours and can be attracted near the colony with Pheromones.
They can be captured and added to the player's creature army, allowing the player to use them in Battles, or they can be killed to gather Body Parts from them.
If added to the player army, they can be fused together to make stronger Creatures. They can also be upgraded in the Creature Lab.
List of creatures
Note: Golden Creatures are excluded from the list because they have the same stats as their regular variants, they are just 1 star level higher.
See Creature Stats for detailed info about the stats of each creature and how they compare to each other.

Rarity
Creatures have different Rarities based mainly on the chance they have to be attracted when using pheromones.
Rarity | Description |
---|---|
Common | They have the highest chance to be attracted when using pheromones. |
Uncommon | They have a lower chance to be attracted when using pheromones than Common. |
Rare | They have the lowest chance to be attracted when using pheromones and may require special conditions. |
Legendary | They cannot be obtained[2] with pheromones but through an Activity Bar. They are always available. |
Special | They cannot be attracted with pheromones but through an Activity Bar. They are only available during Events. |
Attracting
Common, Uncommon and Rare Creatures can be attracted by using Pheromones.
Some of those creatures are more likely to be attracted at one moment or another based on the day-night cycle and the weather, as well as other conditions for specific Creatures.
See Conditions to Attract for detailed info about how to attract each creature.
When a creature is attracted, it is visible in the Map: They have individual icons that resemble their shape and color. It's also possible to know where they are when the player is outside the nest, because a red arrow will point towards their position.
Legendary Creatures cannot be attracted with pheromones. Instead, they can be claimed and directly added to the player's army when the Co-op activity bar is filled by winning 15 Crab Beach coops.
Special Creatures are only available during Events and they can be attracted after filing the Activity Bar of the Event that is taking place.
Attacking and Capturing
Creatures (except Legendary) can be fought with soldier units by pressing the 'Attack' button that appears when soldiers are recruited.
Each Creature has different ways to fight and defend itself, there are 5 categories of offensive and defensive mechanisms:
Category | Description | Type |
---|---|---|
Melee | They have close fights with creatures and the ants, killing them one by one. | Aggressive |
Sprayer | They shoot chemical substances from their bodies that can kill large groups of ants. | Aggressive |
AoE attack | They can kill large groups of ants if they are within the area of their attacks. | Neutral |
Flying | They take flight to become invulnerable to ants, and attack landing for a few seconds. | Aggressive |
Healing | They don't attack at all, instead they try to resist the attacks by healing themselves. | Inoffensive |
Once the creature is defeated, the player can choose if the creature is Captured or Killed.
Capturing the creature will result in the creature being brought to the Creatures Chamber, where it is "enslaved" during a short period of time to serve the colony's army, allowing the player to use the creature in defense and offense against other players and their armies. Captured creatures can be found in the "Army" section.
Inside the "Army" section, players can find the "Collection" which holds information about each creature for players to know more about them. Info about each creature is added the first time the creature is captured by the player.
Creatures in the enslaving process count as a creature on the map, thus another creature can't be attracted while one is being enslaved.
See Attacking and Defending to learn more about what the creatures could do in Battles, after they are captured.
Killing the creature will result in the death of the creature, leaving a corpse in the map which ants can gather Body Parts from. The amount of body parts depends on the creature, and they can go from 20 to 80.
Stats
Creatures have different statistics that are related to their health, strength, and speed. These Stats are found in each Creature's section inside the "Collection". They seem to take different values from 1 to 100.
The main stats of Creatures are:
- Health: It is related to the health of the creature. The higher the Health, the longer it will take for them to be defeated.
- Attack Rate: It is related to the frequency the creature releases its attack or ability, after having selected an objective. The higher the Attack Rate, the faster they will attack enemy creatures, dealing more damage per second.
- Speed: It is related to the movement speed the creature has. The higher the Speed, the faster they will move.
Creatures also have different damage amounts depending on creature type. Damage is not listed on the official stat collection card.
Health and Attack Rate are the most important stats Creatures can have, because they make the difference in 1v1 situations in Battles.
Fusion
2 identical creatures (same stars, same species and same type) can be fused into one to increase their stats (approximately double the stats of the original creature). Fusion chance can be increased by upgrading the Creatures Chamber, but also with honeydew, gems and with a Clan bonus.
Body parts are required to fuse 2 creatures.
Fusion has a chance of failing, which increases when fusing higher stars creatures. The cost in Body Parts also increases.
Body Parts (cost) | Level 1 Creature Chamber (base fusion success chance) | Level 2 Creature Chamber (base fusion success chance) | Level 3 Creature Chamber (base fusion success chance) | Level 4 Creature Chamber (base fusion success chance) | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
2-star | 15 | 75% | 80% | 85% | 90% |
3-star | 30 | 35% | 40% | 45% | 50% |
4-star | 50 | 1% | 5% | 10% | 15% |
There are several ways to improve the chances of a successful fusion:
- Upgrading Creatures Chamber until level 4.
- Levels shown above.
- Purchasing Fusion Success Chance in Honeydew Shop.
- +2% at lvl 1.
- +3% at lvl 2.
- +5% at lvl 3.
- +7% at lvl 4.
- +10% at lvl 5.
- Purchasing one-use increased fusion success with Gems.
- +25% for 300 Gems.
- +50% for 500 Gems.
- Activating a 7-days Fusion Success Chance Bonus in a Clan.
- +2% if the Clan's level is between 1 and 5, for Fungus, Leaves and Seeds, 250 000 of each one.
- +3% if the Clan's level is 6 or higher, for Fungus, Leaves and Seeds, 400 000 of each one.
With Creatures Chamber level 4 and the upgrade from Honeydew Shop at level 5 , the outcome would be:
- 2-star: 100%
- 3-star: 60%
- 4-star: 25%
With level 4 Creatures Chamber, the upgrade from Honeydew Shop at level 5, the 7-days Clan Bonus of +3% Fusion Success Chance, and the +50% one-time increased fusion success (highest chance possible), the outcome would be:
- 2-star: 100%
- 3-star: 100%
- 4-star: 78%
Note: Stars can also be referred to as 'levels'.
Strategy
It's recommended that creatures are mostly kept for fusion. Body parts can be acquired from Battles and Vinegaroon, which are much faster ways to gain body parts than killing creatures, as the creatures captured can be used for fusion.
Even if the creature is only a single star, it is still more useful to the creature army than not having that creature at all.
Creatures should only be killed if:
- The player's army in offence and defense is powerful enough.
- Body parts are needed.
- There is no space for a good creature the player is going for.
Creature Lab
The Creature Lab is a feature that allows players to upgrade the stats of the creatures in their armies. The stats for Health, Attack Rate, and Speed can be upgraded using Body Parts, and Gems later on.
It is recommended that players max out their resin chamber and get the Creature Chamber to level 4 before spending body parts on upgrades for the Creature Lab.

- ↑ Since Crab is added directly to the player's army, it cannot be killed for bodyparts. However, as 15 victories at Crab Beach are required to claim Crab, the player would have gained 1500 bodyparts from those victories at the moment of claiming the Crab.
- ↑ They cannot be attracted. Instead, they are added directly to the player's army.
